Algarve, Portugal
A famous cave in Algarve, Portugal
One of my most memorable trips during the year I spent teaching English in Spain was when I traveled throughout Portugal’s Algarve region.
The region is stunning. It’s famous for its breath-taking limestone seaside cliffs and caves. And it also contains gorgeous historic architecture.
To make this trip more accessible on a budget, I traveled by car with a few friends from Málaga, Spain. Driving allowed us to visit several places in the region and cut costs on other types of travel. Plus, it was fun to take a road trip!
